As term 1 draws to a close, and parents and kids alike anticipate the school holidays – it can be tricky to come up with new and exciting holiday activities. It is not always easy to keep kids engaged and entertained for several weeks. Fear not parents – Thrift Park has you sorted when it comes to school holiday fun! We have compiled a list of both at home activities and out and about activities for some serious school holiday fun!

At home activities

Arts and Crafts

With the weather touch and go at this time of year – you never quite know what you are going to get. For those rainy days, it is handy to have some arts and craft activities for the kids at hand. A visit to Fantastic Home & Gifts is your go-to for a variety of fun, crafty activities the kids can enjoy.

Have a bake off

When the weather is not in favour of outdoor adventures, consider stocking up on some yummy ingredients from Woolworths and having a good old fashioned family bake off. Kids love to decorate things like cookies and cupcakes before they devour them in mere seconds! For some baking inspiration, check out Baker’s Delight’s range of kid friendly recipes here.
